HAYNES 718 alloy
HAYNES 718 alloy is a nickel-based precipitation hardening alloy with high strength up to 650°C. Alloy 718 is widely used as a malleable alloy for forged and composite components in gas turbines, aerospace and other industrial applications. Up to 650°C, Alloy 718 has the highest strength among ductile and weldable superalloys.
De Haynes 718 legering (UNS N07718) summarized:
- High temperature alloy
- Nickel-iron-chromium-niobium-molybdenum-titanium-aluminum alloy
- Designed to combine excellent strength with good fabrication properties in annealed condition
- Use at temperatures below 650 degrees Fahrenheit (at higher temperatures, this alloy can be substituted for Haynes 282)
- Easily welded
- Used in component applications
Product description Haynes HTA - Haynes 718 alloy
Alloy 718 exhibits very high resistance to oxidizing combustion gases up to temperatures of 870°C. Alloy 718 can be deformed in the solution annealed condition both cold and hot. The weldability of Alloy 718 is generally better than that of other precipitation hardening alloys.
