625 alloy
Ni-Cr-Mo-legering Alloy 625
Alloy 625 is a Ni-Cr-Mo alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and oxidation resistance. Alloy 625 is resistant to many environments including phosphoric acid, organic acids and seawater. Stress, pitting and intergranular corrosion resistance are also high.
De 625 legering in het kort (UNS N06625)
- High-temperature alloy
- Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy
- Excellent strength up to 816 degrees Celsius
- Good oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 980 degrees Celsius
- Widely used in industries where high temperatures occur, such as aerospace, chemical process industries, and power industry applications.
Product description Alloy 625:
Up to 980°C, the alloy has high strength with good oxidation resistance. Alloy 625 finds application as high-temperature resistant material and as corrosion resistant material. Most application areas are found in washing vessels, superphosphoric acid devices, seawater equipment, etc. Alloy 625 is relatively easy to deform cold and hot due to its high ductility. The weldability is also very good using conventional techniques.
