Hastelloy® G-35™ alloy

Advances in materials research have led to the development of Hastelloy G-35 alloy, a high chromium nickel alloy. This alloy was developed to extend the effective life of components used in the production of phosphoric acid (wet process).

G-35 is considered a strong improvement on G-30 alloy. The high chromium content provides exceptional resistance to general corrosion in highly oxidizing media and acid chlorine environments. In addition, this alloy offers very good resistance to pitting, crevice and stress corrosion cracking.

Availability

Hastelloy G-35 alloy is available in: plate, rod, pipe, fitting, flanges and welding material in standard dimensions. Different dimensions, forgings and fasteners on request. Merrem & la Porte also offers cutting, sawing and plasma, waterjet or laser cutting capabilities.
