The Cathodic Protection department of Merrem & la Porte offers you a unique opportunity to learn the basic principles and applications of CP in an interactive and practical environment. This basic course specifically focuses on corrosion prevention through cathodic protection. The goal is for you to be able to conduct independent potential surveys and perform minor repairs after completing this course.
No prior knowledge of CP is required; this training serves as a preparatory course for the Kiwa certification or equivalent.
Program
The course combines theory and practice. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of participation.

- What is corrosion?
- Principles and functioning of CP;
- Applications of CP;
- Interference - DC/AC drainage;
- Protective potential survey;
- Practice measurement (in a test field or water tank);
- Exam.
